Oracle Releases New VM, Virtualization Software

Lately, Oracle, the database company, has pronounced to launch new server virtualization software, Oracle VM3.0. The company explaining a little about the product said, “Oracle VM 3.0 is suitable for all datacenter workloads and features new policy-based management capabilities, advanced storage management via the Oracle VM Storage Connect plug-in API; centralized network configuration management, improved ease-of-use and Open Virtualization Format (OVF) support.”

Oracle, keeping in view the cut throat competition prevailing in the virtualization sector, cashes on the super scalability feature of the Oracle VM. Reportedly, it is far better than the rest of similar software. Moreover, Oracle VM has also integrated an easy and simple automating and streamlining process. Furthermore, VM 3.0 works with various OS like Windows, Oracle Linux and Oracle Solaris.

Elaborating further about this latest software, the Senior VP Wim Coekaerts said, “Oracle VM 3.0’s application-driven approach to virtualization makes management of the hardware-software stack easier by enabling customers to deploy, manage and scale applications and resources more dynamically, increasing their operating efficiencies and lowering costs.” Now this speedy deployment promises efficacy for the customer’s data centers; an objective, the company seeks to achieve with the launch of this software.
