According to a report released by Netcraft, the most dependable web hosting company in the month of May was Datapipe. The report concluded that Datapipe had just one unsuccessful request from Netcraft’s monitors for the month of May.
The web hosting provider was certainly had its hands full during the month of May, in which it managed to use 100 percent renewable energy for its data centers as well as amounting its total equity and credit financing to $176 million.
Datapipe has data centers in various cities like New Jersey, California, London, Shanghai and Hong Kong from where it offers colocation and managed services.
This is not the first time Datapipe has gained top position in Netcraft surveys. This year in both January and February, Datapipe managed to grab the number one spot. The provider was closely followed by ServerBeach in second position which could have two failed requests in the Netcraft’s monitors. ServerBeach was introduced by PEER 1 in July 2010 to cater to the Canadian crowd. The web hosting provider relies on PEER 1’s IT infrastructure and network framework to provide various services like cloud, dedicated servers, managed hosting and colocation.
The third position according to the survey was nabbed by Canadian iWeb Technologies. Just a little while earlier, iWeb made a statement declaring it was getting offers to make the company a private organization. iWeb web hosting service functions from Montreal and provides services like managed hosting, dedicated servers and colocation. The remaining list of top ten was filled by New York Internet, Swishmail, Choopa, Qubenet, Kattare Internet Services, UK2 and Rackspace.
